‘Triathlon tragedy: Family, friends stunned

Q1. What activities took place before the tragedy struck?
The triathlete was 90-mins into the race when tragedy struck, at the swim segment of the race the, the last event of the day.

Q2. would such sudden deaths that are being reported in the newspaper deter you from being involved in such sport activites,why?

No. As such accident always take place in such sports event that test the limit of human endurance amateurs. Even for professionals who have undergone proper endurance training, such sports are dangerous as they over tax the human body. It all depends on how much you pushes yourself, races are for fun so we should'nt push ourself to the limits.
